Gady Juarez - President EnLevo Guatemala Board

Gady Juarez serves as the President of the Board of Directors of EnLevo, a role she has held for the past several years, where she utilizes her leadership, teamwork, and empathy to drive the organization’s mission. As a legally registered sworn translator of Spanish-English languages with the Ministry of Education in Guatemala, Gady brings over 15 years of experience volunteering with various religious, medical, and humanitarian groups. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of San Carlos in Guatemala and is currently expanding her linguistic skills by studying the Q’eqchi' Mayan language to better connect with families in developing Mayan-speaking communities.


At 37 years old, Gady is passionate about traveling and learning about different cultures, using her linguistic and multicultural abilities to form meaningful connections with diverse communities. Her dedication to helping others shines through her work with EnLevo, where she takes on various administrative and operational responsibilities, always striving to build strong relationships with the people and families in remote communities. Her fluency in both Spanish and English has been instrumental in bridging cultural gaps and supporting EnLevo’s outreach efforts.

For Gady, family is the cornerstone of her life, and she cherishes her relationships with her mother, nephews, and nieces. In her free time, she enjoys writing, reading, swimming, playing volleyball and board games, and cooking. Gady’s love for learning, service, and cultural engagement makes her an invaluable leader and advocate for the communities she serves.



Doug Roylance - Board Member

Doug and his wife, Kim, have spent over two decades working together as entrepreneurs, building and managing multiple businesses while engaging in extensive humanitarian work. Married for more than 30 years, they have dedicated much of their lives to supporting underprivileged families in countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, Myanmar, the Dominican Republic, Pakistan, India, Vietnam, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Honduras, and Belize. Their contributions span across the globe, and they have also worked with refugees in the United States, helping them navigate the challenges of integrating into new communities.


Doug's entrepreneurial journey includes leadership roles in both the non-profit and private sectors. As the president and chairman of the board for EnLevo, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of families in a sustainable way, he channels his business acumen into philanthropy. His early career involved working with tech giants like Intel, Adobe, and Microsoft on high-profile product launches, leading to executive positions and partnerships with Fortune 500 companies. Today, Doug's business portfolio includes a software development company, tech startups, manufacturing, real estate, and supply chain ventures, showcasing his diverse expertise and vision.


Doug and his spouse are proud parents of three children and their spouses, and they treasure the joy that comes from being grandparents, with more grandchildren on the way. Doug's love for outdoor adventure, including hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and trekking to the base camp of K2, reflects his zest for life and deep connection to nature. Through their shared commitment to family, service, and adventure, Doug and Kim continue to make a lasting impact on those around them.



Kim Roylance - Board Member

Kim Roylance serves as the Secretary on the board of EnLevo, bringing her extensive experience in building trusting relationships across cultural and language barriers. Known for her genuine compassion and ability to connect with others, Kim has made a lasting impact on the communities she serves, especially those living in poverty. As an accomplished entrepreneur, she owns a successful clothing business and manages a direct sales team of several thousand people, consistently generating over $3 million in monthly sales. Kim has also held numerous leadership roles in her community and businesses, sharing her expertise and training in front of thousands.


Kim earned her Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Studies from the University of Utah and has dedicated her life to giving back. Alongside her husband, Doug, she has been actively involved in humanitarian work across the globe, contributing to efforts in countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, Myanmar, the Dominican Republic, Pakistan, India, Vietnam, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Honduras, and Belize. The Roylances have also worked closely with refugees in the United States, helping them navigate cultural differences and integrate into their new communities.


Kim is a proud mother of three children, all of whom are married, and finds immense joy in being a grandmother. Her passion for family extends to her love of bringing people together, whether it’s spending quality time with her grandchildren or engaging with children in the remote communities she visits. Recently, Kim and Doug made a life-changing decision to dedicate more time to implementing the EnLevo Sustainable Lives program in Guatemala, where they continue to make a meaningful difference while enjoying this journey of life together.



Edgar Adrian Villatoro Dubon - Board Member

Edgar Adrian Villatoro Dubon is an accomplished Agricultural Engineer, graduated from the Rural University of Guatemala in Cobán, Alta Verapaz. With extensive experience in agricultural development, he has worked with institutions such as FEDECOVERA RL on the Emerging Care Project for Cardamom Cultivation, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food (MAGA) as the Municipal Director in Lanquín. Edgar also serves as an external consultant for business plans in various agricultural crops, has directed public services in Santa María Cahabón, and is currently the Manager of Abacá Cultivation with the EnLevo. As a dedicated producer and marketer, Edgar specializes in cultivating aromatic species such as cardamom, cocoa, cinnamon, allspice, black pepper, and bananas, while also being involved in forestry through reforestation projects. His passion for agriculture is driven by his commitment to sustainable practices and community development. Edgar has been married to Erika Mazariegos, who has a Bachelor in Nutrition, since 2019. Together, they have a wonderful 4-year-old son, Adrian Antonio, who is their greatest motivation. Despite the challenges of becoming parents during the pandemic, they adapted through video calls and photos to maintain family connections. Today, Edgar's greatest joy is watching his son grow up healthy, loved, and surrounded by family.
