Doug Roylance - President/Chairman of the Board

Doug and his wife, Kim, have spent over two decades working together as entrepreneurs, building and managing multiple businesses while engaging in extensive humanitarian work. Married for more than 30 years, they have dedicated much of their lives to supporting underprivileged families in countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, Myanmar, the Dominican Republic, Pakistan, India, Vietnam, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Honduras, and Belize. Their contributions span across the globe, and they have also worked with refugees in the United States, helping them navigate the challenges of integrating into new communities.


Doug's entrepreneurial journey includes leadership roles in both the non-profit and private sectors. As the president and chairman of the board for EnLevo, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of families in a sustainable way, he channels his business acumen into philanthropy. His early career involved working with tech giants like Intel, Adobe, and Microsoft on high-profile product launches, leading to executive positions and partnerships with Fortune 500 companies. Today, Doug's business portfolio includes a software development company, tech startups, manufacturing, real estate, and supply chain ventures, showcasing his diverse expertise and vision.


Doug and his spouse are proud parents of three children and their spouses, and they treasure the joy that comes from being grandparents, with more grandchildren on the way. Doug's love for outdoor adventure, including hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and trekking to the base camp of K2, reflects his zest for life and deep connection to nature. Through their shared commitment to family, service, and adventure, Doug and Kim continue to make a lasting impact on those around them.



Kim Roylance - Vice President/Secretary

Kim Roylance serves as the Secretary on the board of EnLevo, bringing her extensive experience in building trusting relationships across cultural and language barriers. Known for her genuine compassion and ability to connect with others, Kim has made a lasting impact on the communities she serves, especially those living in poverty. As an accomplished entrepreneur, she owns a successful clothing business and manages a direct sales team of several thousand people, consistently generating over $3 million in monthly sales. Kim has also held numerous leadership roles in her community and businesses, sharing her expertise and training in front of thousands.


Kim earned her Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Studies from the University of Utah and has dedicated her life to giving back. Alongside her husband, Doug, she has been actively involved in humanitarian work across the globe, contributing to efforts in countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, Myanmar, the Dominican Republic, Pakistan, India, Vietnam, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Honduras, and Belize. The Roylances have also worked closely with refugees in the United States, helping them navigate cultural differences and integrate into their new communities.


Kim is a proud mother of three children, all of whom are married, and finds immense joy in being a grandmother. Her passion for family extends to her love of bringing people together, whether it’s spending quality time with her grandchildren or engaging with children in the remote communities she visits. Recently, Kim and Doug made a life-changing decision to dedicate more time to implementing the EnLevo Sustainable Lives program in Guatemala, where they continue to make a meaningful difference while enjoying this journey of life together.



Damon Deru - Board Member

Damon Deru, a seasoned entrepreneur and product innovator, he worked as Chief Product Officer at Orkid Solutions, Inc., an HR services aggregator tailored for small businesses. Damon was dedicated to enhancing Orkid's suite of services by leveraging his vast experience to help small business owners scale their operations effectively. His strategic leadership is instrumental in uniting technology with personalized service, ensured Orkid Solutions met the evolving needs of its clientele.


Damon’s career trajectory began in the financial sector, where he worked as a trader and Registered Investment Advisor. Frustrated with the inefficiencies of manual trading processes, he founded his first tech venture, TradeWarrior, in 2010. The company quickly gained recognition in the wealth management industry, eventually merging with Oranj in 2017, which was later acquired by SEI. Following this success, Damon launched AdvisorPeak, a firm focused on automating and optimizing trading operations for financial advisors, which was acquired by Addepar in 2021.


Beyond his fintech accomplishments, Damon has also contributed to various ventures such as ControlQore and BroodStack, focusing on project management and software development. His commitment to making an impact extends to his work with the nonprofit EnLevo, where he supports technology and fundraising efforts aimed at improving lives in remote Guatemalan villages. Damon's appointment at Orkid Solutions reflects his dedication to using technology to empower and drive success for small businesses.


RaeAnn Ramsey - Board Member RaeAnn Ramsey is Chair of History, Humanities, Ethnic Studies, and Philosophy at Mission College, where she has held leadership roles since 2019. With over 13 years of experience teaching history and humanities at Mission College, she has been instrumental in shaping the academic programs in her department. RaeAnn's teaching career spans even longer, having also taught at De Anza College since 2008. Her expertise is widely recognized, with numerous endorsements for university teaching, curriculum design, and student affairs. RaeAnn earned her Ph.D. in Humanities and History from Faulkner University in 2019, with a focus on interdisciplinary studies. She also holds a Master of Arts in Humanities and History from California State University-Dominguez Hills, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and English from the University of the Pacific. Her academic background reflects her commitment to deepening her knowledge of humanities and fostering critical thinking in her students. Active in her academic community, RaeAnn is known for her dedication to curriculum development and her passion for teaching. She has been endorsed by colleagues and peers for her skills in university teaching, curriculum development, and student engagement. Based in Los Banos, California, RaeAnn has built a strong professional network, with over 500 connections in the field of higher education.



Debora Fletcher - Board Member

Debora Ruano Fletcher is the Founder and President of Sustainable Family Group, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of families in developing countries. She contributed to the publishing of the influential book Family Capital and the SDGs, which aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. As a student of Psychology, Family Science, and International Development at Brigham Young University, Debora brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her work in advocating for sustainable family development.

Married to Russ Fletcher, who was named CEO of the Year in 2019, Debora is the mother of 10 children (eight sons and two daughters) and a grandmother to four. She was recognized as Utah Mother of the Year in 2018, reflecting her dedication to family values. An international speaker, trainer, and avid storyteller, Debora is committed to uplifting humanity, particularly women in cultures where they face challenges. She consults for ongoing projects in the highlands of Guatemala and Jordan, actively advocating for motherhood, nutrition, and education.

As a native of Guatemala, Debora has a deep appreciation for warm climates and loves traveling the world, having visited every continent except Antarctica. Fluent in both Spanish and English, she uses her language skills and multicultural understanding to connect with diverse communities. Her passion for making a positive impact drives her mission to uplift and support families across the globe. She is currently working on a doctorate in Natural Medicine that will improve her skills to help people worldwide who have limited access to healthcare.


Bradley Roylance - Board Member

Brad Roylance is a seasoned attorney practicing in Salt Lake City, Utah, with extensive experience in a variety of legal fields. Since March of 2023, he has been practicing at Francis Peak Law, PLLC. He also does extensive work for Gustin Law Firm, P.C., assisting with their probate litigation matters. His legal expertise spans probate litigation, general civil litigation, disability claims, small business transactions, and more.

Before his current roles, Brad stepped away from practicing law full time to serve as the Operations Manager at Wasatch Powder Coating, LLC, where he worked from June 2016 to February 2023. Previously, from 1999 through 2014, he worked primarily at his own firm, which became known as Deseret Disability Law, where he litigated disability and other various types of claims. He has also worked as an attorney at Meredith Law Office in Lehi, Utah from 2014 to 2016, and the Tree Law Office in Yakima, Washington from 1997 through 1998. 

Brad earned his law degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU, graduating cum laude in 1996. Over the years, he has built a strong professional network. His diverse legal experience, combined with his leadership roles, showcases his commitment to serving individuals and businesses throughout Utah.


Ruel Haymond - Board Member
Ruel Haymond is a dedicated educator who teaches constitutional law, political economy, economics, literature, and debate with passion and insight. In his daily interactions with students, he brings a unique approach by engaging with the ideas of great thinkers like James Madison, Edmund Burke and others. For Ruel, the highlight of his teaching is the opportunity to access and deliver truth, regardless of where it originates, fostering a rich and thought-provoking learning environment.

Ruel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Family Science & Spanish and a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from Utah State University. Teaching is more than just a career for him—it is a mission and a calling. He believes that this path chose him, and he embraces it fully, dedicating himself to the profession with passion and purpose, constantly thinking about ways to inspire and connect with his students.

Family is at the heart of Ruel's life. He is married to Tresa Haymond, and together they have seven children and beautiful grandchildren. They have traveled internationally for humanitarian purposes and cherish their time together, especially at Panguitch Lake, which they consider a heavenly retreat. In his free time, Ruel enjoys praying, reading, cooking, and striving to improve as a husband and father while continually seeking to partake in the "divine nature."


Jeff Freeman - Board Member Jeffrey S. Freeman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching and Education from Brigham Young University (BYU) and a Master’s degree in Education Administration, also from BYU. He worked as a Certified Teacher in the Alpine School District, where he taught 4th and 6th grade from 2009-2018. He started a small business from home in online retail sales and left teaching to pursue that opportunity full time. His passion for education and leadership is complemented by his entrepreneurial success, which has enriched his diverse career. Jeffrey maintains an active lifestyle mixed with sports, exercise, and travel. Jeffrey not only enjoys sports but also coaches his children's soccer and basketball teams. His family is a central part of his life; he is married and has four beautiful children. Fluent in Danish, Jeffrey also speaks Spanish and is currently learning Q’eqchi’, an indigenous language. His love for languages reflects his deep curiosity and respect for different cultures. Jeffrey’s life is also deeply connected to nature having grown up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. He enjoys outdoor activities, including riding motorcycles and hiking among many other things. His commitment to education, his entrepreneurial spirit, and his passion for family and the outdoors define his dynamic approach to life.


Christopher Quinlan - Board Member

Christopher Quinlan joined BYU’s Kennedy Center in 2014, after a decade doing community and international development work in the non-profit sector. He worked with nonprofits such as The Nature Conservancy, United Way, Heifer International, and Community Action Services. 


As an International Program Coordinator with BYU’s International Study Programs office, he now assists with the administration of study abroad, internship, and direct enrollment programs. He is also an Alternate Responsible Officer and assists students coming to BYU on J-1 visas through direct enrollment programs.  


He did undergraduate work at BYU in International Development and French, a master’s in French Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master’s of Public Administration at BYU. 


In his spare time he enjoys hiking, cycling, running, swimming, and canoeing.
