We spent a meaningful day in a public school in Cahabón, engaging with students as we studied Spanish, English, Q’eqchi’, and math together. We learned the days of the week, counted to ten, and explored different alphabets. But beyond the lessons, we witnessed firsthand the urgent needs facing this and other schools in the area.
